The return address pairs the CAP logo and your unit’s name with a current mailing address, set where the Postal Service expects it.
- Choose an envelope size or a label sheet.
- Type your unit name on the subordinate line, then your return address.
- Add an approved emblem, if you want one.
- Keep Return address only, or add delivery addresses by typing them, pasting spreadsheet rows, or loading a CSV file.
- Check every page in the preview, download the PDF, and print one test page on plain paper at 100% (actual size).
Your file is named for your unit and this tool, such as TX-388_envelope_no10.pdf, so it’s easy to find in your downloads.
- Print at 100% (actual size). “Fit to page” shrinks the art, and labels won’t line up.
- Try one page on plain paper first. Hold it against your envelope or label sheet up to a light to check the fit.
- Leave the upper-right corner for postage and the bottom strip for the Postal Service barcode. The guides in the preview mark both.
- Mailing lists hold members’ personal information. Use them only for CAP business, and delete the files when you’re done.
- Anything sold with CAP logos or wordmarks needs a trademark license. Talk to the brand team before you order merchandise for resale.
